BLAT Genome
Samples were collected from 934 Japanese volunteers after written informed consent.
The study protocol was approved by the Ethical Committee at the Institute of Medical Science, the University of Tokyo and RIKEN.
Genomic DNA was extracted from whole blood by standard method. We applied 750ng DNA (15ul DNA at concentration of 50ng/ul) of each sample to Illumina HumanHap550K beadchip according to the manufacture's protocols.
After several quality checks of genotyping data, data of 515,286 autosomal SNPs were released.
The Midousuji and other related Rotary Clubs and many supporters contributed to this program.
The sample collection, genotyping, bioinformatics and data quality control have been performed in collaboration with the SNP Research Center of RIKEN and the University of Tokyo.
This work is supported by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Scinece and Technology
