Guide on use of data in JSNP® database XML files

JSNP® database XML file based on mapping information

These files are XML files for JSNP® variations excluding variations which were not mapped to any current chromosome.
Data are divided by chromosome assignment of mapping.
The annotation for some variations changes when human genome is re-assembled, because the NCBI's reference genome sequence is itself changing from assembly to assembly.
JSNP_mapping.dtd defines the data structure and provides the descriptions.
Statistics of Mapping Information based on NCBI's refseq of the human genome are also available in JSNP homepage.

JSNP® database XML file based on Screened information

These files are XML files for JSNP® variations data obtained during SNP discovery process.
Data are divided by chromosome assignment during SNP discovery process. JSNP various data without chromosome information are deposited in UNKNOWN file.
The annotations for some variations are different from the data derived from mapping information.
JSNP-Screened_SNP.dtd defines the data structure and meanings.
JSNP-Screened_SNP.dtd version 1.10 was released on April 21,2008.
Allele frequency and genotype frequency data were added.
The fasta format files based on JSNP-Screened information are deposited at FTP Server

JSNP® database XML file for data related to PCR region for primer design

JSNP® database XML file for experimental methods

The file is an XML file for experimental methods data of SNP discovery process.
JSNP-Exp_method.dtd defines the data structure and meanings.
